New Jersey Sharing Network - 5 K
To Parents, Students, and Alumni,

As we approach the anniversary of our beloved friend, colleague, and teacher Mr. Andy Latincsics' passing, we cordially invite you to join us on Sunday, June 4th, 2017 in New Providence, New Jersey for the Annual NJ Sharing Network Race/Walk to celebrate Andy's life. We will be joining Mr. L's family and closest friends.

To provide clarity, this IS the same event that Mr. and Mrs. Prentice have invited us to in the past. Over the years, Team Tech is responsible for raising awareness and funds for this very important cause. As you may or may not know, Mr. L. and his family were involved in last year's run. Here are Mr. Prentice's inspiring words.
"I was extremely fortunate to receive a life-saving heart transplant on April 1, 2008. Since that time I have been an active member of the NJ Share Network in supporting and promoting the true life-saving benefits of organ and tissue donation.  The Share Network is an amazing organization that offers education to the public and support to families who both receive and donate life.
I have always felt supported by our school community and wish you could have seen how everyone rallied together in support of me and my family in that extreme time of need.  As a community, we are now on the other side of this equation, in supporting the family and honoring the memory of Mr. L. and their decision to donate life upon his passing.

Below is this link to the sign-up page where anyone can choose to join TEAM LATINCSICS or simply make a contribution."

Please go to the website and click on "Join an Existing Team" and enter Team Latincsics to join us.
In addition, Nancy Ibrahim, Secretary of the Key Club and Student Chairperson for the Sharing Network, designed our team t-shirt.You CAN purchase a shirt without participating in the event. Proceeds from the sale of the shirt will go to the Andy Latincsics' Scholarship Fund. Go to the link below.
Shirts will be delivered to MCST and distributed before the race. The entire school community will be encouraged to wear the t-shirt, or just wear red on Friday, June 2, 2017.
Respectfully yours,
The Andy Latincsics Scholarship Committee
